Blade and Soul CN open beta starts on 28 November 2013. Some of us will be playing and we will probably set up a Guild in the game. No worries if you are not able to understand Chinese, the Guild's primary language is English and we can translate/ guide you along.

Blade and Soul Character Creation is up now. You may start customizing your character before the open beta on 28th Nov. We are on 网通二区 -> 夺魂战神 server. First you select 网通二区 on the game launcher then select 夺魂战神 at the end of your character creation.

Does that mean pre-char creation will be locked after 10pm?

Character creation has been locked seven hours earlier than intended due to overwhelming response.

Did they locked the launcher as well? It seems I couldn't get pass this screen (the prompt pops up when I double click the server 网通二区)

Yes and is that the reason too why my launcher prompted me something like the one I posted? I mean if there was no lock, should the launcher normally get me into the game?

Since character creation is over, the servers are brought down until the 28th. Servers will be back up at 2pm (+8 GMT) on the 28th. For those that didn't manage to create a character during the character creation period will have to log in at 2pm ASAP since all the servers are almost completely filled. It would not be surprising if server restrictions are set in place to manage the influx of players.
