I wan to be promoted from spare membership.. LOL

You also offline lol.. anyway yeah.. I promoted all the members to the Primary Guild member rank coz I don't like the rank of "spare-member" either.. It does not look good on anybody. The game has a really bad translation. Unfortunately, there is a limit cap on Primary Guild member rank. Gonna write in a support ticket to Snail Games to see if they can at least remove the word "spare"..

Hello guys,

I am a fellow Singaporean who has been playing in Tarnished Coast since launch. We faced each other multiple times last month. Me and my group of local and international friends (around 10-15) are veteran WvWvWers in Tarnished Coast (around 3 experienced commanders among us, including me). I came from a competitive CS background before moving onto GW2.

I am going out of my way to seek to enlist really strong Singaporean guilds for the Tarnished Coast oceanic timezone. EsF has always impressed me in WvWvW when I faced them so they were my #1 choice to approach. I understand that Server Loyalty is important and if that is the case and you guys want to stick with CD and continue to march them back to tier 1, I completely respect that decision, however, its not going to stop me from at the very least making a case for Tarnished Coast.

1.We are holding our own in Tier2 even though its a holiday week (considering most of our population is NA Primetime and the average age is generally older since its the unofficial RP server which means its quite impressive considering our numbers), next week I believe we will do even better.

2. Our community is the cleanest and most fun community to play in, mature players, mature commanders, no raging at mistakes, great multi-guild coordination, people know how to have a good time but still play skillfully.

3. We establish lots of strategic documents with screenshots, on Siege placements, offense, defense on each tower/keep and share it with all our key guilds.

4. Lastly, I actually believe that our Oceanic group is much much more skilled and organized than our NA primetime, we just don't have the numbers they do. Trust me, I play in both and sit in mumble with all the NA commanders when doing so. The reason for this is that our Oceanic group has learnt it the tough way, fighting with inferior numbers on EB and our BL vs the likes of Crystal Desert (multiple times), Sea of Sorrows (and beating them), Blackgate on the rise and SoR on the rise. We are a mockup group of very skilled players ranging from Singapore, Australia, Philipines, Indonesia and European players (early oceanic in EB). The three guilds that are active during Late European/Early Oceanic ---- Late Oceanic time are some of the best guilds on our server, its the oceanic shift of Pink, TV (EB) and Pro (Indonesian guild).

I know you guys are a very very influential guild in CD and completely respect if this transfer is not a choice worth considering for you guys. I would love it if you guys would give it some serious thought. There is no 'guild heirarchy' on TC, every guild is on an equal page and everyone tries to work with each other, no one is going to ask you to turn off your icon so that commander X can take charge in a rude way. We will in fact try to get you guys into VOIP and work together as best as we can.

I hope you guys consider it,
Cheers

Hi. Thank you for your offer. I can see that you are really determined and have put in the effort. We may give it a thought but the possibility of us moving over is extremely low. Or likewise for you, you may consider moving over to Crystal Desert instead? This is where most of the Singaporeans are. Anyway, thanks for the offer once again. Best of luck to you and all the best to you and your Guild! :)

Age Of Wushu / Castration in Age of Wushu
December 20, 2012, 06:17:54 PM
2 new ultimate skills are recently added to the China and Taiwan server for Age of Wushu, the Sunflower Manual and Star Absorbing Skill . The former will require male characters to virtually castrate themselves in order to master the skill, and after castration, the character will have a decrement of 30% in movement speed for 1 day due to the pain…

First off, players will have to get the related treasure item for each skill, Embroidered Needle (Sunflower Manual) and Black Wood Command Tablet (Star Absorbing Skill). These two items spawn randomly from world chests, and each server will have limited amounts of them. These items are character-bound on pickup, unable to put into storage, and each character can only have either one at any time.

If a character carrying either of the treasure items is killed, the treasure item will drop, and everyone can try to loot it. For players without the treasure items, they can pay a fee to a NPC, who will give them tips of the holder who has the least positive relationship with the NPC. If the character is online, the NPC will give the paying players tips on his or her location in the game. For 2 prices, the player can choose to teleport to where the holder is or the nearest save point.

Holding the treasure item, the character can now proceed to find an eunuch NPC to begin the training quest. After getting the required buff, it is time to kill players to obtain points. Each treasure item starts with 15 points. Killing 1 players nabs 1 point, and the same player can only be killed 2 time daily. This process only happens daily from 18:00 till 24:00. Do note that these points can degenerate, for every 10 minutes offline, 1 point is deducted. Once again, this happens only the 18:00 till 24:00 period daily, which led to majority of the working players raging in the forums… After getting 300 points, the character can now proceed to learn level 1 till 36 of either the Sunflower Manual or Star Absorbing Skill. For the Sunflower Manual, character’s look will change at level 6 (whiter skin), 16 (facial hair gone) and 26 (pinkish makeup). This change is permanent.

Both skills cannot be trained the normal way, and will need to continue killing other players to level them up. Every kill contributes to 1% of the skill level, with each needing 100% to level up. To train till level 49… It means that thousands of players must be killed (same player can only be killed twice daily for points).

The top practitioner of the Sunflower Manual will also get an exclusive set of costume which replicates what Invincible East wore. The Sunflower Manual focuses on control skills, freedom from global skill cooldowns and increasing movement speed, which is very powerful in PvP. The Star Absorbing Skill steals target’s stats to self-boost health (HP) and inner energy (MP), rendering the target severely weakened.

According to players in the China server, a negative thing about these ultimate skills are the huge amount of resources needed to activate and use them, causing them to be emergency-only skills. For both of these ultimate skills, using them at level 6 and below will burn 20,000 skill points every 20 seconds, and at level 7 to 15, burns 40,000 skill points every 20 seconds. Apparently no one has maxed the skills yet, and hopefully there will be positive changes made in future updates.
