Updated the table in Reply#3 of the thread with the value of effects.

NB: Currently Jianghu meridian is only up to 36 cycles while the School meridians are up to 108 cycles.

Phyllis, this is a thing we need to understand regarding their rules of engagement during escort events. Some guilds think escort is free game, and will find it weird if we kos them because of that. I think we need to bring this up during the next meeting.

Don't mp pots have cast times? How can you use one in the middle of a combo?

I think the author was talking about Arena Pill. Perhaps before the event.

*edited: The author was talking about eating Food that gives mp regen buff. I just noticed from the screenshot.

After posting the guide on how to search for school badge packages in the trade center, I decided to write a post regarding the exchange service offered by the School Item Exchange NPC.

The following are the respective locations of the NPC within the school:
RG          (359 -165)
Beggar    (556 337)
Scholar    (560 292)
Wanderer (253 14)
Tangmen  (999 -153)
Emei        (705 -20)
Wudang   (540 416)
Shaolin     (1024 298)

As you may have noticed, these are exactly the same NPCs you talk to regarding 2NG exchange using your School Honor Certs.

To exchange your School Honor Certs for the School Badge Package, talk to the NPC and click on the 'Exchange' button on the right of the window.

Then purchase a 'Gold String' for 50L silver (unbound), then purchase the School Badge Package (requirements: You have at least 100 School Honor Certs and 1 Gold String). Congratulations! You are now in the possession of a cargo worth 400L to 1D!

Please note that once you right click on the package and loot its contents, the certs will become BOUND to you again. So avoid being curious or 'click-happy'. To avoid accidentally looting bags and packages during trade or mail, use the left mouse button to click on the package ONCE (contrary to popular Windows and MMO habits of click and dragging items using the left mouse button, all it takes is just a simple left click on the item); you will notice that the mouse cursor turns into the icon of that package and you can safely place it into the trade or mail window.

Happy Trading / Selling guys!

p.s. Do keep 600 certs for own use if you are exchanging for 2NG31 to 2NG36. To be 'future-proof', keep another 1815 certs for 3NG.

Greetings fellow Einsof!

As you may have noticed, I have been spamming world and guild chat to buy Emei, Shaolin and Wanderer Honor Badge Packages at 500L for 100 pieces.

Most of you may already know this, but I will share for the benefit of everyone.

Under 'All the Cargo' tab, click on sub-tab 'Other', then sub-sub-tab 'Special Item' (the last tab of that sub-tub), and search for 'Jade' quality items (select 'Jade' and click refresh). Tada! You found the unbound honor badge packages! The most active markets can been found in Chengdu, followed by Suzhou.

Please note that the price varies for each school and range between 400L to 1D per package. Once the package have been right clicked and its contents looted, they are BOUND to you. So take care when handling them.

caveat emptor

p.s. How many badges exactly do you need in order to exchange for the desired purpose?

Answers:

2NG Level 1 to Level 10 = 15 per cert x 10 = 150 certs in total
2NG Level 11 to Level 20 = 20 per cert x 10 = 200 certs in total
2NG Level 21 to Level 30 = 25 per cert x 10 = 250 certs in total

Therefore 2NG Level 1 to Level 30 = 150 + 200 + 250 = 600 certs in total

* For Meridian activation, all you need is 2NG20 for that specific school. So you only need to buy 2NG Level 1 to Level 20, which sums up to 400 certs in total (because you can only purchase them in the 100s). Save the remaining 50 certs for 3NG.

** For use of the 2NG of a particular school, 2NG30 will be the max you can go, so 600 certs will get you there.

*** How to exchange the certs after you got enough badges? Just travel to the respective schools and click on the School Item Exchange NPC.

RG          (359 -165)
Beggar    (556 337)
Scholar    (560 292)
Wanderer (253 14)

Emei        (705 -20)
Wudang   (540 416)
Shaolin     (1024 298)

...and I thought the red letters about your escort being robbed was a bug or something...

Decided to try my luck around Chengdu; lo and behold, I found you with minimal hp completing your escort at Shen lol!

【Secret Tech】Guide to obtaining Eternal Link of Stars title in 5 Minutes

It is not difficult to obtain a chain combo of 1000 hits just through using normal attacks. Normally nobody is able to train a group of mobs and utilize AoE to complete the 1000 hit chain; either you or the mobs run out of hp.

Thus someone invented a neat trick of using the mobs' auto-regen function to complete this title challenge.

Press 'U', go to the Jianghu achievements tab and you will find there are three levels of this title challenge: 100, 400 and 1000 combo respectively.

100 hits chain is not difficult as a person can easily pass this challenge by soloing an instance, but 1000 hits requires the use of a little trick.

To achieve the title, you must first travel to the Bronze Crane Platform of King Wu's Tomb in Suzhou.

Eternal Link of Stars

To begin, you need to have two skills with 2 sec cooldown timers. If you are unable to find one with your school's martial skills, then travel to a beginning town to purchase a normal attack (remember: 2 sec cooldown) from the Martial School Teacher.

Drag the 2 skills to your hot bar and head towards the Bronze Crane Platform in Suzhou (528, -89). Head to the back of the area, jump up to the roof and you may begin attacking the mobs.

Please be careful when entering the region of King Wu's Tomb as the world boss resides there. Do not aggro the boss and bring it to the area where everyone is engaging in their title challenge.

In order to successfully surpass this title challenge, you MUST jump onto the roof of the building.

Jump up to the roof, click on the furthest Black Flag mob within the trio (he will be your primary target-man for the untargeted AoE attacks) and begin your attacks.

For Scholars, you will only need to alternate between Hero's Tears and Reticent Flower for this title challenge. When you are tired, just release your Wind Flower Snow Moon. This will enable you to breeze through this title challenge. For those who are non-Scholars and do not have two 2 sec cooldown timer skills, you may go to a beginning town to buy a normal attack skill from the Martial School Teacher.

Remember to take food that gives mp regen before the event so that you will not run out of energy!

If you are helping others to obtain the title, just train the mobs under the roof as shown in the picture.

Those who are obtaining the title will fight on the roof while the one training the mobs will be under the roof engaging his/her parry till the title challenge is complete.

It is perfectly alright if nobody is available to help you train mobs, just that it will be much slower as you can only hit 3 mobs at a time.

After 5 minutes, you will have a new shiny title to use!
Many thanks to the original author and his team mates.

Hey guys, just wanted to point out that you only need 1ng25 of the particular school to activate its respective meridian. Thereafter it becomes 2ng20, 3ng20, so on and so forth.

So don't over-train if all you want is to activate a meridian.

Furthermore, internal damage will become more and more important due to the fact that everyone has high external defence when they reach 3NG

Lol, i wonder how hard the quest will be

1st Quest (Basic Manual): Tiger Roaring Villa (Wudang Influence challenge) or Huanhua Sword Sect (Chengdu Influence challenge)

2nd Quest (Advanced Manual): Twilight Village (Suzhou Forbidden instance)

3rd Quest (Intermediate Manual): Green Cloud Castle (Luoyang Forbidden instance)

2NG31 to 2NG36 requires 100 honor certificates each and comes in the form of scripts (like the secret of success scripts)

For guys who have a change of type of internal skill e.g. Wudang 1NG is Taiji but becomes Yin in 2NG, please keep your current gears in case they can be used in 3NG (which in the case of Wudang is Taiji again). But 2NG will be here to stay for sometime (at least 1 month I suspect), so you can safely collect your respective gears.

Unless you are pumping lots of gold for progression in 2NG, you would not be seeing drastic stat difference until you reach about 2NG20 and beyond (mainly because of HP cap). So I recommend you to continue using your 1NG till your 2NG reaches a comfortable level where stats (and gear) are competitive enough for a switch ...

Most likely at 4pm (GMT+8) / 12am (PST).

Although they like to put events without stating the exact timing, most started upon reaching 12am PST.

No harm for us to log in at 4pm (GMT+8) to find out.

Huh? Is there a special requirement to "get in"?

I logged in and was strolling about clueless about the war when I decided to teleport to guild base... only to see it's burning and ganked by 3-5 people at spawn. Then I fought for a few minutes killing 2 people and the war is over.

I managed to accidentally join the last few minutes... why? ???

Maybe we can test out saving a guild teleport point of an ally guild and port in during a war? Lol!
