Updated: The enemy still receives loot bagwhen you jump off the cliff, but it still counts as cliff death (no repair).

Can only attend official runs on Wednesday and Saturday nights (2000hrs to 2300hrs). I will be more active in the mornings to late afternoon when school holiday starts.

If you are ganked near a cliff, jumping off the cliff results in defeated state upon touchdown. You will save on repairing your armor as "Being defeated by falling damage will not damage or break armor, unless it happens in an instance."

That also prevents your gankers from getting any lewt.

Very interesting thread off the official forum where they discuss about "turtling" with the mesmer portal bomb. IMHO it is a valid mechanic as Anet codes AoE to only hit 5 players max, while siege weapons hit everyone.
