They fixed the long login screen issue. But their server lag is still pretty insane. In its current state, I cannot recommend it to anyone. It is entirely possible for your character to die in combat due to the lag. My advice to anyone interested to try this game, is to wait 1-2 weeks.

If anyone does play, my ingame soul name is yabuki, so feel free to add me.

For me, the magic of Sony consoles died with PS2. After PS2, I also got tired of Sony's design of controllers. Got painful to hold onto the PS2 controller and PS3 controller seemed more of the same.

More importantly, PS3 and its games didn't really interest me at its launch. Even now, approaching the tail end of its life cycle, PS3 only has ~15 games that I want to play. Compared to my PS2, there were so many games I enjoyed on it, throughout its life cycle. I'm thinking of picking up a discounted/secondhand PS3 once PS4 launches.

Personally, I don't know what Sony or Microsoft can announce on 20th Feb that can outweigh what Nintendo has already announced. If they're just going to announce their next console, I probably wont care. But if they announce some games that interest me, I'll give it a second look.

I've not been excited for console games for a long time, until I saw this Nintendo video. Though I'm probably giving in to the hype. Kinda wondering what else Nintendo will announce at E3...

New footage of the following games:
- Bayonetta 2
- Wonderful 101

New games announced:
- Xenoblade(??) 2. I've put a ?? because no one really knows at the moment.
- Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
- Wii U party
- Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD remake
- New Zelda game

Xenoblade(??) 2 and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem sealed the deal for me. I'll probably scrape some money to buy a Wii U once those 2 games are released.

The new UI sorta reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles, which I find is a good thing.

They just released their Founders pack. But the pricing is quite crazy. Most expensive is USD$200.

On the game itself, I personally can not consider it a D&D game until it lets me multi-class. It might turn out to be a good action game. But without the multiclass system, it feels just like every other action MMO out there.

Played it in one of the Public Beta Weekends near end of last year. Combat is quite fun, but abit lacking in content due to its nature of releasing content.

-They have some graphic options, but I dunno how to turn off the bloom effect.
-Combat is action and cooldown juggling. Hold left-click to auto-attack. Can also block or dodge enemy attacks, which is important as most of them hit like a truck. Combat is smooth, pending network lag. A number of times I dodge out of the way, but because of lag I still kena hit.
-Difficulty is balanced around a 4man party and it doesn't scale if you're alone. If you try to solo, you'll spend a lot of time resting or killing even one mob. Can be tedious if going alone.
- also can cross-class like D&D, but I dunno the mechanics. Game desperately needs more base classes. But its f2p, so boh bian.

Thanks Einzo. Was wondering why nothing showed up.

My thoughts after playing Wizardry Online a little:
- Quite hard to log in at the moment. 10-30mins wait at login screen. I suspect SOE drop the ball here. Launch has been terrible.
- Too much bloom effect for me. My eyes abit blur now.
- Combat can be quite repetitive.
- Permadeath is not bad. You have a character and a soul. Character can die permanently. When your character go to 0hp, become a corpse. If you fail to revive from corpse, you'll be turned to Ash. If you fail to revive from Ash, then you'll lose the character permanently.
- Soul cannot die. Soul will store some of your progress to make it easier for you to re-level a new character.
- Its not for everyone though. If you get attached to your character and see him deleted, can be quite sad.
