How to Register QQ Account/ Download MHO/ Use TGP

1. If you do not have a QQ account, register for one at http://reg.imqq.com/

2. You may download MHO from the official website or via TGP.

1. Log in to TGP with your QQ account. You may download TGP from http://tgp.qq.com

2. Click the second menu button on the top menu> Click the letter 'G'> Click the MHO poster.

Character Pre-creation

Hunters can start pre-creating their characters now via the "character creation (颜值创造)" app. It allows you to create your character via the app and then upload your character and in-game-nickname (IGN) to the pre-open beta server. By doing so, you can log in the game and use that character to play when pre-open beta starts on December 17! Moreover, by creating character via this app will give you an exclusive outfit as a bonus!

Notes:

1. To prevent screwing up your client, change your system locale to Chinese, Simplified before installing TGP. Tencent Games TenProtect program will encounter multiple problems with applocale.

2. TGP is recommended since most players will be non-CN locals. TGP will help boost your connection to the game by re-routing through a more efficient route, reducing the ping to the server.

3. If you have other boosters and want to download the game via other methods, go to http://mho.qq.com/download.shtml and select the 3rd option from the left (green button) to download via QQ Download Accelerator via Internet Explorer. For some reason, Google Chrome is unable to open the QQDownloader.
It's less user-friendly than MHO Downloader, but speeds up the download process by a very large margin.

Note: You might need an existing QQ account to use the Accelerator, so make sure you sign up for one beforehand.

After clicking the green button, install the QQDownload_Setup.

Click the green button again, and click the highlighted box:

Recommended: Double click the other files to pause their download. Downloading one-by-one can sometimes be faster than downloading all at once.

For people with problems finding your QQ number after registering with email.

Go to http://haoma.qq.com/ (http://haoma.qq.com/) and login to your QQ account.

At the top right it will show your account details.

Look for (我的QQ号：XXXXXXXXXX[普通号码])

The Xs will be your QQ number for logging in via TGP.

After downloading the game, most people seem to be confused with how to proceed to verify details when trying to start game.
