To all, if you are having problems installing or running the game, please try to run them as administrator first to see if it helps.
I haven't been able to get it to work the entire day, but finally I'm good to go. Here are the tips people from the forums taught me:
Make sure that the files you have are this exact size.
Data1_AgeofWushu_Setup = 2,672kb
data2 = 1,839,816kb
data3 = 1,843,200kb
data4 = 1,843,200kb
data5 = 1,843,200kb
data6 = 184,324kb
Then use the MD5 Code Verification program to confirm that you have the right files. Go to http://www.ageofwushu.com/webroot/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=526 (http://www.ageofwushu.com/webroot/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=526) for a guide as to how to use the program.
Last tip: if you keep downloading corrupted files, it might be because your transfer speed is too fast. Decrease the speed (I switched off my VPN and used wifi instead), and it might work (that did the trick for me).

are you guys getting static noise in the background music while playing the game?
I usually play games without music as my earphones are off, but i will take note of it once I get back home.
not experiencing any. u using headset or speakers? sometimes when a headset or speaker almsot about to spoil will have static noise when music too loud.
